About this one

PS-303 is an acid bass synth in the spirit of the TB-303: a mono voice — one oscillator through a self-oscillating filter — driven by a 16-step sequencer. Place a note per step, add slide and accent, and ride the cutoff and resonance for that squelchy, forward-driving line. In the studio it snaps to the global key and the dice rolls a fresh bassline.

Learn how it works: Subtractive synthesis
  • 01A 16-step mono sequencer — one note per step, in a two-octave range
  • 02SLIDE glides between notes; ACCENT hits louder, brighter and more resonant
  • 03A self-oscillating lowpass with live cutoff, resonance, env-mod and decay
  • 04Saw or square voice, with an octave switch
  • 05In the studio: notes snap to the global KEY and the ✨ DICE rolls a fresh line
