About this one
PS-STP is a melodic step-sequencer and lead. You draw a contour on a 16-step lane by scale degree, not fixed pitch — so it resolves through the current key, re-modes when the key changes, and can never play a wrong note. The voice is a plucky pair of detuned saws through a filter envelope and a synced delay, with per-step accent and ratchet. In the studio it follows the global key and the dice rolls a fresh riff.
- 01A 16-step lane by scale degree (−7…+7), with the tonic in the middle
- 02Resolves through the key — it re-modes on a key change and can't play wrong
- 03A plucky detuned-saw voice with a filter envelope and a synced delay
- 04Per-step ACCENT (brighter) and RATCHET (a fast double); 8th / 16th / 32nd rate
- 05In the studio: follows the global KEY and the ✨ DICE rolls a fresh contour
